Soooo much has happened this week.
Painters are done;
Dulux Beige Royal 1/4 on the walls with trims in Dulux Lexicon 1/2. Can't wait to see the fireplace set into the cantilever wall :)
Electrical fit off is done and dusted;
Fair bit of wiring in the man cave. But I'm hiding the best part. Check out the bulkhead;
And I'm a little bit chuffed about the entry hob & niches. I'm now on the lookout for some type of amazing vessel to hold my branches. Maybe a chunky timber vase with loads of grain??
L.O.V.I.N.G. my kitchen right now. Today I found some retro shaped, lime green glasses, so I bought all they had in stock - 16 of them - to go on one of those shelves. I'm stressing a little about the splashback colour. Should have played it safe and gone for the wall colour instead of "Sea Elephant".
Can you see the silver vent under the microwave cavity? Thats my sweeper outlet for the ducted vac :)
I'm getting very very very excited now!!!!!!!

Tiling will bring it all to life and then its final fitoff!! WOW
Hmm so where did you get those glasses then? Looks absolutely fabulous, not long now, tiling next?
It is looking fantastic. Loving the fireplace!
Gorgeous!! Loving the Beige Royal - I initially chose that then changed my mind ;) Looks fab!
Amazing loving those down lights & your kitchen beautiful. I'm getting excited for u!
I love beige royal 1/4. I picked the same :). It can't be that far away Reinsey.
Fantastic!. Lovely and spacious kitchen. The downlights add a beautiful effect to your bedroom. I'm guessing we'll be moving almost at the same time....
Heck - I hope not Tonia. Haven't even thought about starting to think about packing!!!
Nothing much changes, does it Deb? Still stressing about colours!!!
Yeah, thanks for the DJ's tip J. Credit card is in for treatment now!!!
Thanks LouNeen. I'm thinking of painting that projection part of the wall. What do you think???
Was totally freaking out about the colour Shayne. Originally we chose full strength, then pegged it back to quarter. So happy with how it looks though and hope that the timber floors tone down the slight yellow tinge.
Thanks Mel,
ME TOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
Yam - great taste!! Deb has the same and it's come up beautifully in her home.
Thanks Flipflop. That's actually our home theatre with the bulkhead and downlights. It's the best room in the house!!
Your house is absolutley gorgeous Reinsey, its going to be perfect when its finished you have so many great extra's that just give it that personal touch already!!! I cant wait for you guys to move in so we can come and visit!!!
Hey Raels, looks awesome... loving the bulkhead! Definately paint the projection wall! I'm thinking I'm going to go with a very dark grey, or something along those lines. If my media room was a fully dedicated room, I would look at doing the hole thing quite dark.. absorb all that pesky light!
Can't wait to see the fireplace in!
We had our final finishes meeting yesterday, so a long overdue blog post is on its way! Hoping we receive a start date fairly quickly now!
