Tiler more

June 7, 2011

I HAD to go down to the house today (what a shame) to deliver our family of tilers an extra 60 white 100x300 tiles for the laundry.

No, don't panic, Carlisle didn't make a boo boo.  We did a little cashie extension to the bench top in our laundry and coz our SS is a seriously top guy, he let us buy the extra tiles, throw Mr. Smiley a little extra cash for his labour, and happy days - our whole laundry wall will be tiled.

I know, stop with the chit chat and show us the piccies already....

Up over the bath we've got "Loft - Dark Chocolate" in 400mm x 400mm.  This will go on the floor & shower base too.  The walls are just white 200mm x 400mm which we have on the shower walls too.

Except for the yummy scrummy airstrip of Nickel Plus.  Still can't get a decent photo :(

I've managed to cull the 72 pics I took tonight of the ensuite down to these few...

This stage of the build is making it soooo hard to find the motivation to go to work every day.  I really just want to camp out at the house and break into applause with every tile that's laid.

Can anyone tell me what comes after the tiles are done?

I am hearing you...I really want to just think about all things house at the moment. I want it finished tomorrow and I want to move in the next day...
Looking lovely by the way. Tiles are really hard to show off in a photo but trust me I can see just how lovely they are.

Feature tiles look fantastic as we knew they would. Well done with the laundry extension and tiles.

To follow:
Plumbing fitoff, baths, wc, showerscreens, mirrors, splashback, robes etc.....all your wonderful selections to make it home THEN floorboards, carpets, appliances and your READY for a big clean before your IN.

How is front facade going?

You didn't visit me on this freezing day?

So glad to see you are taking some time off work for a better purpose!!!! It's looking so great, I love your feature tiles, what the heck were you stressing about?????

You could have called into Debs and had tea with us! I am at the point where I am getting so excited about every bit of wood that goes up, I will be orgasmic by your stage!!! (am I allowed to say that?)

Just got the point to your subject heading, maybe you should have added "Merry, Tiler More". Painted already? I had to check a few photos to see if painting had been done, but I guess I was looking at the areas that needed a mirror. Umm what's next? The final stretch, FIT OUTS!
