You can stick it

September 30, 2011

I don't understand why every second car is sporting a set of these;
Clearly Dad has a mistress on the side but packs his clubs every Saturday to give him 4 hours of freedom. Mum has some form of online addiction. The daughter has a leg deformity. The son is wearing a scarf with shorts - clearly a poof! And they've got a dog.  Did I REALLY need to know this?

Some people have become a little clever...
Could be wrong, but I don't think these are their real names.

This one I approve of, except for the senseless violence!

If you have your family stuck to your window, please don't be offended - but can you explain to me WHY????   I just don't get it.

I also scratch my head at the 'baby on board' sign....perhaps we observant citizens need to know this in case the parents forget?!

PS - some 'mongrel' stole our two garden lights last night....roll eyes at the watchdog.

I'm with you. I just don't see the point of the stick people family. We need someone to explain.

Don't know about the stick figure families, but I have heard that the 'baby on bard' signs are to alert the emergency services to high priority vehicles in case of an accident...

There was a photo in the Herald Sun (last Thurs I think) that they took to highlight parking idiocy - the handicap-parking van was like 5cm from the SUV which was parked normally. But on the back of the SUV was what looked like the whole family tree. Did anyone else see it?

I find them amusing, almost wish I was outgoing enough to sport a set, but couldn't help but feel a bit naff... hence our window is bare - except for the baby on board sign, which came free with the baby-seat which stays on the window whether there is a baby in there or not.... which is why emergency services ignore them anyway.... making it pointless... try telling my wife that.

I do exactly the same as you I look at the family pic and think what an odd looking family this lot is comprised of. I don't find it funny or cute or anything really. It gives me amusement seeing the weird combos people use to portray their loved ones. I too have the baby on board sign which I still maintain to keep on the back as I sometimes feel people on the road may have a bit more awareness that I have kids in the car to be mindful and not act like road raging dickheads...who knows I may be too hopeful that human kind just needs a reminder to remain civil on the roads...uugghh
