After months of nothingness, we pop down today and we've got water & electricity to the block plus gutters throughout our entire stage.
There are trees along the entrance road to our estate, one family has already moved into stage 5, and the footpaths are about 1/3 completed in neighbouring stage 7.
At this rate, we may have a 2010 site start - too exciting!

I am very jealous!!! Can't understand they way they do things on this estate - but as David said, perhaps it is easier to continue on with guttering and roads etc. rather than stop and move to the other side to start again. Lets hope we both start building about the same time, we can arrange to meet down there and check each others houses out!!!
